Our coaching staff is a talented and dedicated group of women who share a passion for rhythmic gymnastics. All of our coaches have been trained in First Aid/CPR and certified through the National Coaching Certification Program and Gymnastics Canada. All coaches and coaches in training have taken the Respect In Sport course and had a Child Abuse Registry Check.
Each of our coaches brings a unique perspective and experience to class along with a vast knowledge of the sport.
Jill is the Head Coach and Technical Director. In addition to those duties, she also coaches the competitive program, both Interclub and Provincial Stream Level. Jill has been involved with ARGO since 1989 as both a gymnast and a coach. Jill is looking forward to her 23rd year as a coach at ARGO. Jill is a Level 3 Coach through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and a Gymnastics Foundation Learning Facilitator through Gymnastics Canada. Jill has served on the Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba Board of Directors for 8 years. Jill has received four coaching awards: Recreational Coach of the Year in 2001, Provincial Stream Coach of the Year in 2007, RGM Interclub Coach of the Year in 2017 and RGM Coach of the Year in 2007.
Jill finds coaching incredibly rewarding. Having stayed with a group of girls from ages 7 -18, Jill was able to watch her gymnasts grow up from little girls to young women in both gymnastics and outside of the gym. Jill has been lucky to share her passion of rhythmic gymnastics to her gymnasts every year and hopes to continue to inspire young girls to develop confidence, sportsmanship and creativity through the sport. Jill has coached all levels at ARGO from IRG to National Stream. Additionally, Jill was the coach of Manitoba Fusion who attended World Gymnaestrada in Switzerland in 2011. Jill was the manager of Manitoba Fusion who attended the World Gymnaestrada in Helsinki, Finland in the summer of 2015.
Jill was an athlete at ARGO for 15 years. Her highlights as a gymnast were becoming the Provincial Stream Senior All Around Champion and participating as part of two World Gymnaeastrada teams traveling to Portugal and Austria.
Jill is a middle school teacher in the Pembina Trails School Division. When Jill is not teaching or coaching, she enjoys participating in sports and traveling.

Dana is a competitive coach and is currently coaching Interclub and Provincial Stream. Dana began coaching in the early 1990’s. Dana has coached all levels at ARGO from IRG to National Stream. Dana is also the founder of the Goldstream Rhythmic Gymnastics Club in Steinbach, Manitoba. Dana’s extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for coaching rhythmic gymnastics has taken her all over Canada, the United States and even to New Zealand!
In addition to coaching, Dana had an extensive career as a gymnast. Her career highlights were competing in Canada Games as part of a group and traveling to Portugal as a member of the Canadian World Gymnaestrada Team.
Dana is looking forward to the 2019-2020 season!
Chantal is both a recreational and competitive coach. Currently, Chantal is coaching IRG, Parent & Tot, Tiny Tots and Advanced Display and is assisting Level 1-6. Chantal is looking forward to her 14th year as a coach. Chantal is a Gymnastics Foundation trained coach and is currently working towards her Level 2 certification through the NCCP. In addition, Chantal is also a certified Judge. Chantal has won two coaching awards, Recreational Coach of Year in both 2011 and 2013.
Chantal believes that anyone can be a gymnast, no matter what age or size you are. If you give it your best, you can achieve anything. She says that if you have the drive and a coach who believes in you, your wildest dreams can come true!
Chantal was an athlete at ARGO for 13 years. She participated both recreationally and in competitive. She finished her career as a Masters gymnast in 2013. Chantal’s career highlights include podium finishes at the Western Canadian Championships and participating in World Gymnaestrada in Switzerland, Finland and Austria as part of the Canadian team.
Chantal is an Early Childhood Educator at Linwood Child Care Centre in the Pre-Kinder Program. .

Camryn is a coach in training in the recreational program and is currently assisting IRG. Camryn is excited to begin her 6th year as a coach! Camryn is currently taking the Gymnastics Foundations Program.
Camryn has been an athlete at ARGO for the past 9 years. She has trained both recreationally and competitively. She is currently competing in Masters. Her career highlights are becoming the Level 5A Provincial Champion in 2014 and participating in World Gymnaestrada in Austria.
Camryn is a second year university student at the University of Winnipeg. In addition to gymnastics, Camryn enjoys reading, singing and performing. In 2014, Camryn played the lead role of Ariel in St. James Assiniboia School Division’s production of The Little Mermaid.
Camryn is looking forward to the upcoming season!
Clare is a recreational coach and is coaching IRG. Clare is looking forward to her 18th year as a coach. She has coached all levels at ARGO from IRG to Provincial Stream. Clare is a Level 2 certified coach through the NCCP. Clare has won one coaching award, Recreational Coach of the Year in 2003.
Clare was an athlete at ARGO for 12 years in the competitive program. Her career highlights include traveling across North America as a National Stream gymnast and participating as part of two World Gymnaestrada teams traveling to Sweden and Austria.
Clare has a degree in Social Work from the University of Manitoba. She is currently working as an Educational Assistant in the St. James Assiniboia School Division.

Meghan is a coach in training in the recreational program and is currently coaching Advanced IRG and assisting IRG. Meghan is looking forward to her 6th year as a coach. Meghan is currently taking the Gymnastics Foundations coaching course. Meghan has received one coaching award, the Apprentice Coach of the Year in 2015.
Meghan has been a gymnast at ARGO for the past 12 years. She finished her career competing in Level 6B. Her career highlights have been competing in different provinces and at Western Canadian Championships and spending time as a National Stream gymnast.
Meghan is currently a student at the University of Manitoba. When Meghan is not at school or gymnastics, she enjoys reading and listening to One Direction music.
