Coaches
Our coaching staff is a talented and dedicated group of women who share a passion for rhythmic gymnastics. All of our coaches have been trained in First Aid/CPR and certified through the National Coaching Certification Program and Gymnastics Canada. All coaches and coaches in training have taken the Respect In Sport course and had a Child Abuse Registry Check.
Each of our coaches brings a unique perspective and experience to class along with a vast knowledge of the sport.
Chantal Seguin
Chantal is our Head Coach and Technical Director and both a and competitive coach. Currently, Chantal is coaching IRG, Parent & Tot, Tiny Tots and Advanced Display and is assisting Level 1-6. Chantal is looking forward to her 16th year as a coach. Chantal is a Gymnastics Foundation trained coach and is currently working towards her Level 2 certification through the NCCP. In addition, Chantal is also a certified Judge. Chantal has won two coaching awards, Recreational Coach of Year in both 2011 and 2013.
Chantal believes that anyone can be a gymnast, no matter what age or size you are. If you give it your best, you can achieve anything. She says that if you have the drive and a coach who believes in you, your wildest dreams can come true!
Chantal was an athlete at ARGO for 13 years. She participated both recreationally and in competitive. She finished her career as a Masters gymnast in 2013. Chantal’s career highlights include podium finishes at the Western Canadian Championships and participating in World Gymnaestrada in Switzerland, Finland and Austria as part of the Canadian team.
Chantal is an Early Childhood Educator at Pacific Junction Child Care Centre in the Pre-Kinder Program. .

Dana Maindonald
Dana is a competitive coach and is currently coaching Interclub and Provincial Stream. Dana began coaching in the early 1990’s. Dana has coached all levels at ARGO from IRG to National Stream. Dana is also the founder of the Goldstream Rhythmic Gymnastics Club in Steinbach, Manitoba. Dana’s extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for coaching rhythmic gymnastics has taken her all over Canada, the United States and even to New Zealand!
In addition to coaching, Dana had an extensive career as a gymnast. Her career highlights were competing in Canada Games as part of a group and traveling to Portugal as a member of the Canadian World Gymnaestrada Team.
Dana is looking forward to the 2023-2024 season!
