Coaches

Our coaching staff is a talented and dedicated group of women who share a passion for rhythmic gymnastics. All of our coaches have been trained in First Aid/CPR and certified through the National Coaching Certification Program and Gymnastics Canada. All coaches and coaches in training have taken the Respect In Sport course and had a Child Abuse Registry Check.

Each of our coaches brings a unique perspective and experience to class along with a vast knowledge of the sport.

Chantal

Chantal is an experienced gymnast with a passion for coaching and nurturing talent. With 20 years of coaching experience, she serves as the Head Coach and Technical Director, guiding athletes from our Active Start programs such as Tinytots to Competitive Stream Levels 1-6. Holding Gymnastics Foundation and NCCP Level 2 certifications, along with being a certified Judge, Chantal brings a wealth of expertise to her role.

Throughout her career, Chantal has garnered recognition, winning the Recreational Coach of the Year award in 2011, 2013, and 2018. Her coaching philosophy revolves around inclusivity and determination, believing that with dedication and support, anyone can excel in gymnastics.

Chantal’s journey in gymnastics began as an athlete at ARGO, where she spent 13 years honing her skills both recreationally and competitively. She achieved podium finishes at the Western Canadian Championships and represented Canada at World Gymnaestrada across Europe.

Beyond gymnastics, Chantal also serves as a Program Manager at Pacific Junction Daycare, showcasing her dedication to early childhood development.

Excited for the upcoming season, Chantal hopes to inspire and empower her athletes to reach new heights in their gymnastics journey.

Camryn

Camryn joined ARGO when she was 8 years old and quickly fell in love with the sport and the community it creates. Camryn competed for just over 10 years, retiring from competitions when she was in university for her Bachelor of Arts in human rights.

She started assistant coaching when she was 13 and started her own classes as soon as she was old enough. She moved from coaching recreational classes to coaching competitive, and today, Camryn coaches the Provincial Stream and Interclub gymnasts alongside head coach Chantal Seguin. The friendships, memories, and connections Camryn has made throughout the years in ARGO and as part of the gymnastics for all team Manitoba Fusion, have shaped Camryn into the person she is today.

Sara

Sara is one of our recreational coaches that has been with us since 2022. As a coach, she hopes to inspire gymnasts to work hard and persevere. Her classes have an upbeat atmosphere and centre around play.

Sara started a career in rhythmic gymnastics with ARGO at the age of 8 and competed for 8 years. Rhythmic gymnastics is a treasured part of her youth, where she developed long-lasting relationships and memories. She’s inspired to create the same impactful experiences for all ARGO gymnasts.

Outside of the gym, Sara spends her time with her small children, reading, baking and traveling.
